The Houston Astros have signed Carlos Pena to a one-year deal worth $2.9mm, Danny Knobler of CBSSports.com reports. The deal also includes $1.4mm in incentives. Last season, Pena made his second stop with the Rays and had an off season hitting .197/.330/.357 with 19 home runs in 600 plate appearances.
