The bats were alive on Sunday as the affiliates lost just one game. Darin Mastroianni and Jon Talley led the attack for their respective teams.
Las Vegas 10 Salt Lake 4P.J. Walters was roughed up for four runs in 5.1 innings of work. He allowed seven hits and walked three batters. Scott Richmond pitched OK out of the 'pen with 1.2 scoreless innings, although he allowed two hits, walked a batter and did not strike out anyone. Ron Uviedo and Kyle Davies worked scoreless innings. At the plate, veteran Ryan Shealy had a day to remember with seven RBI, thanks in part to a two-out grand slam in the fifth inning. Darin Mastroianni had three hits, as did David Cooper. Adeiny Hechavarria went 2-for-4 with a homer and two RBI.
