The Toronto Blue Jays activated reliever Casey Janssen from the 60-day disabled list on Tuesday.
Janssen had been sidelined with a right forearm strain.
The 29-year-old righthander is having a strong season, posting a 2-0 mark with a 2.93 ERA and 25 strikeouts in 27 2/3 innings.
Toronto then optioned lefthander Luis Perez to Triple-A Las Vegas.
