The Toronto Blue Jays have placed left-handed pitcher J.A. Happ on the 15-day disabled list after getting hit in the head on a comebacker. He suffered a head contusion. To take his spot, the Blue Jays have recalled right-handed pitcher Edgar Gonzalez from their Triple-A Buffalo minor league affiliate. FFLockerRoom wishes a speedy and healthy recovery to Happ.

Toronto Blue Jays pitcher J.A. Happ had to leave Tuesday night's game against the Tampa Bay Rays on a stretcher after being struck in the side of the head by a line drive by Rays batter Desmond Jennings in the second inning.
