Blue Jays second year third baseman missed the first two weeks of the season with a bum oblique.  On Thursday, he hit his first home run of the season off Yankees starter Hiroki Kuroda.  After rounding the bases and getting high-fives and butt slaps from teammates, Lawrie decided that wasn’t enough.  He needed more.  It’s been a tough first nine games for him as he has only gotten four hits in his first 32 at bats.  He had struck out 12 times in his first 36 plate appearances. Yeah, the high fives and butt pats weren’t enough.  Brett Lawrie needed to get weird.  He needed to get weird by himself.  And so he did. Check out Emilio Bonfacio’s stare as he approached Lawrie.  Cue the “WTF” thought bubble. via Reddit
