Remember when Pat "The Bat" Burrell was released by the Tampa Bay Rays and WSBGMs begged for him to be brought back to the City of Brotherly Love, to only have Ruben Amaro come out and say the Phillies had zero interest in him? Yeah, well, since joining the San Francisco Giants Burrell has hit .333/.992, with 3 runs, 4 rbi, and 3 xbh in 7 games. Sample sample size yes, but a far cry better than anything the Phils are trotting to the batters box. Not to mention, but of course I will, he's a buttload cheaper than that dud we have manning leftfield. *Pictured above is Burrell's homerun stroll around the bases last night.The Phillies offense sucks. Any offense seeing regular plate appearances by Wilson "GIDP" Valdez, Juan Castro, and Greg Dobbs is a bad offense. The subtraction of Jimmy Rollins from the leadoff spot has transformed the lineup into one big pile of pooh. With Interleague Play in full effect, and the Phils drawing the unlucky matchup of the BoSo...
