B-REF PREVIEW | GAMEDAY | WEATHER | ACB CHAT ROOM Adam Wainright vs. Cubs hitters: .300/.358/.450 in 100 at-bats Carlos Zambrano vs. Cardinals hitters: .237/.304/.401 in 274 at-bats When and Where: 1:20 on CSN Partly cloudy, 72°, wind blowing out to left center field at 9 mph. Zambrano has always been really good against the Cardinals and he's thrown some of his best games against them, but on August 9th in St. Louis Zambrano got lit up by the Cardinals in 4.1 innings (10 hits, 3 walks, 4 K and 9 earned runs). His 4 previous starts against the Cardinals he'd pitched 27.1 innings while allowing 20 hits and just 4 runs. Felipe Lopez and Skip Schumacher have hit Zambrano really well and, of course, there's Albert Pujols who hits everybody well though he's been human against Zambrano (.910 OPS). The Cubs have had a lot of success against Wainright in the past.
