Ramon Castro was sidelined at the end of August with a leg injury, it's the third year in a row that Castro has been on the disabled list late in the season. While his bat is very nice to have especially from a back-up catcher, I wonder moving forward if the injury risk is becoming more of a liability then his offense is an asset. His return wont effect the roster and now that the Mets are carrying four catchers, which means he can be used as a right handed pinch hitter more often....It's likely Ramon Castro (strained right quadriceps) will come off the disabled list for tonight's game. Castro has been on the DL since Aug. 27. source Daily News
