This post was inspired by something that I read at Mike Scioscia's Tragic Illness. Basically, they make a case for giving Chin Lung Hu another shot at the shortstop job. And while I doubt it happens, since managers rarely want to go out on a limb by replacing a veteran with a prospect, I agree with the premise. Why? Because Hu is an elite defender, and he has a much higher upside with the bat than Berroa ever will.
