Coaching staff taking shape...

Without actually welcoming them back Mets.com is reporting that it appears pitching coach Dan Warthen and hitting coach Howard Johnson will return to the staff for next year. There was less of an endorsement given to Sandy Alomar Jr. who is likely to return. No indication at all was given in regards to Ken Oberkfell, Guy Conti or Luis Aguayo.There must be something holding up the possess, Jerry said two weeks ago he expected to have his coaching staff in order by last week. Either they're waiting for someone to get back to them or they can't agree on someone. There has been a rumor that Joey Cora may join the staff if he isn't hired for the Seattle job and they just hired their new GM. I expected Warthen back as the staff seemed to respond to his style after Rick Peterson was fired.
