Derek Lee has been removed from tonight’s game with what is described as a “mild, right side strain.” It is not thought to be very serious.
With that in mind, Freddie Freeman has hit .427 in the month of August with 4 home runs and 24 RBIs. He has raised his average for the year to .324 with 18 home runs and 87 RBIs. Just a matter of time until he joins the Braves.
If Lee has to miss a few games, we will see Freeman. I think he will be with the Braves before September 1.
