The Los Angeles Dodgers are taking a cautious path with their rookie sensation.  Yasiel Puig was held out of yesterday's game as he continues to battle a sore hip.  He originally hurt his hip when he collided with the outfield wall about a week ago.  Now, the pain is lingering and the Dodgers just want to give him some rest. There has not been word about Puig's status today, the final game before the All-Star break, but Dylan Hernandez of the Los Angeles Times reported Puig's scratch not too soon before the start of yesterday's game.  The same could happen today if he is indeed out again.  If the Dodgers hold him out today, it will give the 22-year old Cuban outfielder a total of five days off before his next game.  That might be the smart move. Puig has been a sensation throughout baseball.  He has finally started slowing down a bit, but he's still hitting .392/.424/.622.  His incredible start to the season, and start to his career was not enough to propel him past Freddy Freeman in the Final Vote contest for the All-Star Game.  Regardless, fans love to watch Puig play even if he doesn't have the warmest reputation among players. There have been reports that Puig is arrogant and refuses to talk to some of the veteran players who came before him.  But in reality, we do not know what's being lost in translation.  Puig spent his entire life in Cuba and is still adjusting to life in the United States.
