The Dodgers' legacy is nothing if not one of trailblazing, from Jackie Robinson to the move west out of Brooklyn, N.Y., from Mexico's Fernando Valenzuela to Japan's Hideo Nomo. And now, the latest Dodger to crack through a barrier and provide an opportunity for others -- Sue Falsone.

I had pretty much figured Clayton Kershaw would win his first National League Gold Glove award this year,
though you know how it goes, so you can never be too sure. As for Matt Kemp and Andre Ethier, well it would be pretty sweet, but didn't give them a shot whatsoever of winning.
But hey what do you know? the dynamic trio took home the gold in the 2011 Rawlings Gold...

"As a Dodger fan and an...
Clayton Kershaw, Matt Kemp and Andre Ethier became the first trio of Los Angeles Dodgers to win NL Gold Gloves in the same year, and Adrian Gonzalez, Dustin Pedroia and Jacoby Ellsbury became the first three Red Sox in 32 seasons to win the AL honor together.
The Dodgers are nearing a deal with Juan Rivera and have drawn interest from a high-profile potential buyer. Here are more notes from the division...
Dodgers owner Frank McCourt will get at least $1 billion if he agrees to sell the team, according to Jon Heyman of SI.com (on Twitter). Dodger Stadium and its surrounding parking lots will likely be included in any sale.
Los Angeles Dodgers center fielder Matt Kemp and Toronto Blue Jays right fielder Jose Bautista took home the Silver Slugger Award on Wednesday to highlight the honors given to the top offensive performers at their respective positions.
