The Mets have announced that top prospect Matt Harvey will be promoted from Triple-A Buffalo and join the team on Monday. Harvey will start for the Mets on Thursday evening in Arizona against the D-Backs. The team was without a fifth starter after designating Miguel Batista for assignment this morning. Harvey has a 3.68 ERA in 20 starts with Buffalo and is coming off his worst start of the season in which he gave up six runs on Saturday night.
