SI.com's Jon Heyman is reporting that the Mets would like to get K-Rod over the rest of the free agents options including Brian Fuentes. The Mets are seeking a 3 year deal for the right hander. The Mets according to Heyman, might have to go the fourth year to secure him.
They can also go the route of Brian Fuentes, who will demand less.
