Last time
The Red Sox won 3-for-4 in Kansas City in mid-August.No one had a huge series, but there were some great single game performances. Pedey went 3-for-4 with a double and 3 RBI in game 1. Adrian Gonzalez went 3-for-4 with 2 doubles and an RBI in game 2. Carl Crawford went 2-for-4 with an RBI in game 3. Darnell McDonald closed out the series going 3-for-5 with a solo homer. Of course none of that matters, and a series win this season will be huge for the Sox.
This timeLaser Show: David Ortiz
Pitch Around: Mike Moustakas
Moustakas is swinging the best bat for the Royals thus far. 14 of his 29 hits have been extra-base hits, which will make for an interesting time for Sox pitching.
Don't Fall Behind: Danny Duffy
The better of the 3 pitchers going for the Royals in this series. Duffy will have the Sox guessing more than Chen or Sanchez, but could crack if the Sox can make him work.
How we see it goin' downThe Royals suck at home and the Sox are much better on the road. Boston should have the upper hand but will not sweep. The Sox will get a much needed series win with a tough loss mixed in.
