Murphy or Duda could be on the block ?

Ken Rosenthal speculates that the Mets could look to trade one of Lucas Duda or Dan Murphy because of duplication.  Alderson has suggested several times when speaking to the media that some of the holes could be filled this off-season through trades and if the team is rebuilding then they'd probably be reluctant to deal prospects...Alderson loves the long ball and with the fences...

In conversations with other teams at the GM Meetings in Milwaukee this week, a source confirmed the Mets informed other teams that Daniel Murphy is “available.” This goes against an earlier report that said the front office sees Murphy as the starting second baseman if they cannot retain Jose Reyes. But...

This Glass Is 95% Full

OK, let’s get the whining out of the way first: I want to unreservedly love the new pinstripes, but they annoy me a little. The Mets were born in the Jet Age. Fatherly Eisenhower had given way to hip, stylish JFK, soon to announce we were going to the Moon.
