Jake Peavy is set to rejoin the Chicago White Sox rotation on Saturday, against the Atlanta Braves according to the Chicago Sun Times. It will be Peavy’s first call back to action since June 4 when he pitched with a displaced rib and lasted 21/3 innings in Seattle against the Mariners. Peavy had one rehab start at Double-A Birmingham, giving up one run on five hits over five innings. Peavy will be in line to make three starts prior to the non-waiver trade deadline July 31 and may become the Sox biggest trade bargaining chip if he remains healthy.
