Dodgers Central:
Jay Gibbons signed a small $200,000 1 year contract to come back to the Dodgers, most likely in a bench role, unless he shows something in Spring Training that forces the Dodgers hand. I personally like the deal, he’s worth a lot more and I was surprised that he signed for such a small amount but it shows he has a lot of loyalty for the Dodgers since they gave him the shot no one else would.
On the other side, Scott Podsednik decline a 1 year mutual option with the club for 2 mil. It’s been said the club is trying to still secure a deal with him. I don’t even think he’s worth the 2 mil, I just hope some other team decides to be shafted by him and not us, we’ve got better options in the minors.
Some time this week I’ll go over the Roster and Free Agents I like for the Dodgers and the possibility that they’ll sign with the Dodgers.
