Final: Phillies 6, Twins 1. WP: Joe Blanton (6-6, 4.93) LP: Scott Diamond (5-2, 2.13) Joe Blanton has thrown a complete game for just the eighth time in his nine-year Major League Baseball career. He allowed just seven hits while striking out eight and walking none. Jim Thome hit another mammoth home run Thursday evening for his 11th, 12th, and 13th run batted in of the season.  "He did it again." - Tom McCarthy. The Phillies head to Toronto to oppose the Blue Jays starting Friday evening, with the first pitch at 7:07 pm. With Jim Thome's home run tonight, he now has 99 total with the Philadelphia Phillies. According to Martin Frank of the Delaware News Journal, if he gets to 100, he will be the fourth player in MLB history with 100 home runs with three different teams. Alex Rodriguez, Reggie Jackson and Darrell Evans are those of whom accomplished this feat. Fans had a rough time finding Thome's 607th career home run. (Picture via @JWerthsBeard)
