Press Release Provided by the San Diego Padres Media Department:SAN DIEGO, Calif. – The San Diego Padres today announced that they have recalled left-handed pitcher Josh Spence from Triple-A Tucson and placed right-handed pitcher Dustin Moseley on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right shoulder. Executive Vice President/General Manager Josh Byrnes made the announcement.Spence, 24, made his Big League debut with the Padres last season, becoming the second player from the 2010 First-Year Player Draft to reach the Majors. He worked 29.2 innings over 40 relief appearances, posting a 2.73 ERA (9 ER) with 31 strikeouts. Over parts of three minor league seasons in the Padres organization, Spence has gone 6-3 with a 2.12 ERA (17 ER/72.1 IP) in 46 outings.Moseley, 30, made his 2012 debut last night, surrendering five runs over 5.0 innings to the Dodgers.
