Yankees GM Brian Cashman made headlines on Wednesday by saying he didn't think the Angels had any sense of "fear" in having to face New York. On Thursday, Game 1 starter John Lackey(notes) provided a quote that backed up Cashman's initial hunch about the Halos. Asked by a media member if his knees might be buckled in the presence of the great Yankees lineup, Lackey appeared a little put off and issued a short and definitive response Q. "Do you try hard not to be sort of intimidated by the Yankee lineup? Is that possible for you?"JOHN LACKEY: "I'm not going to get intimidated by anybody. That's why I'm throwing tomorrow." Really, that's such a great quote and Angels fans have to love that ornery Texan attitude.
