Lackey on Yanks: 'I'm not going to get intimidated by anybody'

Yankees GM Brian Cashman made headlines on Wednesday by saying he didn't think the Angels had any sense of "fear" in having to face New York. On Thursday, Game 1 starter John Lackey(notes) provided a quote that backed up Cashman's initial hunch about the Halos. Asked by a media member if his knees might be buckled in the presence of the great Yankees lineup, Lackey appeared a little put off and issued a short and definitive response Q. "Do you try hard not to be sort of intimidated by the Yankee lineup? Is that possible for you?"JOHN LACKEY: "I'm not going to get intimidated by anybody. That's why I'm throwing tomorrow."
