-As you've likely heard by now, Vicente Padilla avoided disaster yesterday, as he was diagnosed with an irritated radial nerve in his forearm. Calling it a forearm problem is a stretch though, as it's really an elbow issue.
-Jeff Weaver threw a 50-pitch bullpen session and sounds ready to go.
-Who is starting for the Dodgers on Wednesday? Ken Gurnick says Josh Towers and Jesus Castillo are under consideration. Towers is an old crap mobile, so you should be familiar with him already. Castillo is basically organizational depth, though I did do a profile on him last year.
