He has a sinking fastball in the low 90s that helped him post a 2.03 GO/AO last year in the Appy League. He also has a promising curveball, and the combination of the two pitches throttled left-handed hitters to a .188 mark for Bluefield. His K/IP and H/IP ratios were quite good, but he also walked too many guys, elevating his ERA. I am intrigued with this one; if Martin can sharpen his c...

The Dodgers have dealt 28-year old lefty starter/reliever Dana Eveland to the Orioles for 24-year old IF/OF Tyler Henson and 22-year old lefty starter/reliever Jarret Martin. Eveland pitched in 5 games (all starts) for the Dodgers last year and he was 3-2 with a 3.03 ERA and a 1.15 WHIP. His solid pitching was likely a mirage as he has pitched in 100 games (59 starts) in his first...
