The Louisville Bats minor league baseball team is holding "Star Wars Night" later this month, and to commemorate the occasion, the team will be wearing special edition jerseys modeled after the X-Wing rebel fighter pilot uniforms.The Bats, who serve as the AAA affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds, will be wearing the jerseys for their July 27th for their game against the Charlotte Knights. LucasFilms approved the jerseys and even asked for five of them for themselves.After the game, the X-Wing rebel fighter jerseys will be auctioned off through the Bats web site, with proceeds donated to Kosair Children's Hospital.
