Best part of the Mariners game tonight - Beer Catch. In case you missed it tonight there wasn't much to cheer for - for Mariners fans, but off of a Justin Smoak foul ball in the bottom of the 8th one lucky fan caught the ball in his beer. He then proceeded to pound said beer to the applause of the 200 or so fans left at Safeco Field. The Mariners went onto lose another dull boring game. Thank goodness Felix Hernandez takes the mound tomorrow night. http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/gameday/index..._copy_26183887 HOU@SEA: A fan at Safeco catches a ball in his beer mlb.mlb.com 4/10/13: A fan in Seattle catches a foul ball off the bat of Justin Smoak in a cup of beer, but that doesn't stop him from chugging it down More...

Mariners fan catches foul ball in beer, then drinks it down

A Seattle Mariners fan caught a foul ball in his cup of beer and then chugged it down.
