The Miami Marlins have signed infielder Placido Polanco to a one-year deal, Jon Heyman of CBS Sports reports. The deal is pending a physical and is reportedly worth $2.75mm plus performance bonuses.
Polanco battled injuries last year with the Phillies and only appeared in 90 games. He hit .257/.302/.327 with 2 home runs and 15 doubles.
