There has been one stud athlete in New York City for the past 17 years, but Matt Harvey of the New York Mets is doing his best early on in his first full season to take that injured shorstop’s place. The 24-year-old pitcher for the Mets is 5-0 with a 1.93 ERA, an oustanding 0.829 WHIP and SO/BB rate of 4.35. While he is quickly becoming a fan favorite, like that other guy, he is already doing well for himself with the ladies. Harvey is dating suerpmodel Anne V. While US Weekly is reporting that the two are an item, it was quite obvious when they were spotted at the Rangers/Bruins game together looking awfully comfortable with one another. It was actually an earlier game where the two met. Harvey tweeted out back on May 6 that he shared an elevator with her following the team’s victory over the Caps. Well, Harvey struck while the iron was hot and asked her out. Last season, the Amercian League’s Justin Verlander grabbed attention by dominating opposing batter’s while dating Kate Upton.
