Rockies sign 3B Blake to one-year pact
The Colorado Rockies signed free-agent third baseman Casey Blake to a one-year, $2 million contract.
The deal, announced Tuesday, is pending a physical.
The 38-year-old Blake was limited to only 63 games last season with the Los Angeles Dodgers because of injuries.
Blake is a .264 career hitter with 167 home runs and 616 RBIs.
