Some assorted notes on the tails of the Mets 3-1 win over the Yanks this afternoon (of which I saw none, as I was at work):This may sound ridiculous in the context of his recent explosion (he hit another homer today), but I think the Mets need to trade Delgado NOW. In fact, the recent explosion is why. He looks temporarily rejuvenated, his stock is high, and some stupid team will take the bait for prospects. Most Mets fans would disagree, arguing that it would probably disrupt the already nonexistent clubhouse chemistry, but I really don't give a ****. He's still finished, and he'll fall back to earth soon. Trade him for prospects and let Andy Phillips play first. Jerry Manuel is the ******* man.
