1971 TOPPS COINS TEAM SET From 1961 through 1971, Topps issued at least a single one-per-pack insert each year. The booklets and posters were fairly crude, and I don’t think my five-year-old brain ever fully grasped that enigmatic scratch-off game. The 1971 coins, however, were another matter. I loved these things, and I had a large selection of them clanging around in the pockets of my husky Toughskins for that entire summer.
