If there is one offseason move that New York Mets president of baseball operations David Stearns deserves praise for, it's signing Clay Holmes. The former reliever signed a three-year, $38 million contract with the Mets in December 2024 and was converted to a starting pitcher, something he hasn't done since 2018.
