The Mets announced some moves today . They have outrighted Righty pitcher Eddie Kunz, Lefty pitcher Raul Valdes, Inf and strike out king Mike Hessman, Of Jesus Feliciano and C Omir Santos to Buffalo (AAA). That brings the Mets to 34 on there 40 man roster. Room to add a couple of players that they might want to protect. Kunz has really done nothing in the minors since his cup of coffee a few years ago.Hessman did nothing on the Mets roster this September Also the Jeff Francoeur trade has yielded zip. The Mets placed infielder Joaquin Arias on waivders and he has been claimed by the Kansas City Royals
