Leading Life Through My Eyes:
What are the New York Mets going to do with themselves! There are so many questions with this team, it is impossible to answer them all. The biggest question is what are the Mets going to do with the big three (Beltran, Wright, Reyes). I'm only talking about these three because I am going to assume Carlos Delgado is not coming back. With the money from his contract the Mets might be able to sign a big Type-A Free agent player like Jason Bay. Assuming the Big 3 all come back healthy and the Mets sign a big free agent, it looks like the Mets will have a very respectable team next season.
Pitching is something the Mets do not have to worry about until the middle of the season. Why would you go out and waste a lot of money on a big pitcher when your lineup can't get the job done. I think the Mets need to wait and see how they do in the very competitive NL East until they make any drastic decisions.
Look back for updates as the winter meeting move on.
