(i.e. valverde, krod, capps) December 28, 2012 4:03 pm via webReplyRetweetFavorite @JonHeymanCBS Jon Heyman I have to agree with Heyman, there are plenty of good options still out there.  Below is a list — via MLB Trade Rumors — of all the available free agent relievers: Some of the names that intrigue me are: Scott Atchinson, who allowed 9 ER over 51 1/3 innings of work while holding left handed batters to a .188 average over 85 at-bats: Peter Moylan, who returned from shoulder surgery this year and allowed one earned run over five innings of work as a September call-up.  Moylan was 1-1 with a 6.35 ERA in 21-games (22 2/3 IP) with all four Atlanta minor league affiliates last season: Mark Lowe, who Lowe, 29, posted a 3.43 ERA and 28-13 K/BB ratio over 39 1/3 innings with the Rangers last season. FOX Sports’ Jon Paul Morosi reports multiple teams have checked in on on Lowe which makes me believe he may receive a two-year deal.  Probably making him two expensive for the Mets. There are other names on this list that interest me, but most I believe are out of the Mets price range. So, I think guys like Moylan or Joey Devine — who is also coming off an injury — are more likely targets then the likes of Matt Capps or Jose Valverdi.  There is another name that interests me, and that is Brian Wilson. Wilson should be ready for the start of spring trainging and according to Scott Miller of CBS, the former S.F. Giants closer is generating plenty of interest.  The guy has the coolest beard and bringing up his name allowed me to show this video which is totally awesome. Enjoy! *NOTE: The New York Mets announced the signing of left handed reliever Aaron Laffey to a minor league contract with an invitation to Major League Spring Training. Laffey, 27, went 4-6 with a 4.56 ERA in 22 games (16 starts) with the Toronto Blue Jays last season.  In 11 starts for the Jays Triple-A affiliate, Laffey was 3-5 with a 4.52 ERA:
