Kevin Frandsen had a career year for the Philadelphia Phillies in 2012. The 30 year old journeyman hit .338 in 55 games after taking over at third base for the oft injured Polacido Polanco. It was an impressive season, but not enough to think that he can be a solution at the hot corner for a playoff contending team. Many fans are high on Frandsen and talk on many sports talk radio shows, including Philly Baseball Beat on MTRRadio.com, about wanting the Phillies to include him in their 2013 plans. Callers and some hosts say that Frandsen can be a starter or be part of a platoon. They think that the small sample that they saw in 2012 gives them an idea of what Kevin will be in a full season.
