Murphy, Kunz, Thole - Named to the AFL All-Star game

Three Minor League Mets -- Daniel Murphy, catcher Josh Thole and reliever Eddie Kunz -- have been named to the All-Star team in the Arizona Fall League. Murphy is listed as an outfielder on the roster of the American Division team, though he has played primarily second base for the Peoria Saguaros. Murphy was batting .385 with nine RBIs and 12 runs in 10 games through Thursday. Bobby Parnell, who made his big league debut, pitching in relief, for the Mets in September, allowed one hit and struck out five in four innings in the Saguaros' 8-1 victory against the Surprise Rafters Wednesday. Pitching as a starter, Parnell has a 2-0 record and 2.84 ERA in three starts (6 1/3 innings).
