As suggested by team GM Ruben Amaro Jr. this afternoon, the Phillies declined salary arbitration to free agent relievers Chan Ho Park and Scott Eyre, who were both Type B free agents. The Phillies have indicated at least some interest in resigning them, particularly Park, who flourished as a late-inning option. Eyre underwent elbow surgery shortly after the World Series and his health and plans to pitch in 2010 remain vague. Elsewhere, the Tigers did not offer arbitration to Type...
