According to Brian Costa of the Star Ledger, Kelvim Escobar felt good after playing catch yesterday, but expects to spend at least the month of April rehabilitating in Port St. Lucie. …i don’t really know what to expect out of Escobar this season…it’s a good sign his arm felt ok after he played catch, but i have a feeling he is a long way off from coming to the big leagues, if at all…once he’s cleared to begin fully working out, he will need an entire Spring Training regimen in order to be prepared, which includes bullpens, batting practices, simulated games, and real games, and who knows how his arm will respond over time…shoulder injuries aren’t as clear cut as elbow injuries, and so i don’t think there is a clear path for Escobar right now…
