Odds & Ends: Mets, Francoeur, 2010 Free Agents

In the same article, Manuel mentions that he's been impressed with Jeff Francoeur, who is "playing hard with nothing to really go for."  The 25-year-old outfielder is batting .315/.341/.487 since arriving in New York and is under team control until 2012.  "He's been a welcome addition," Manuel added.
