Found March 20, 2013 on Nationals Enquirer:
So, earlier this evening we posted about Vegas sportsbook Bovada.com installing Stephen Strasburg as early 11/2 favorite to win 2013 NL Cy Young. In a separate prop bet, oddsmakers have set the odds of hometown boy Bryce Harper winning 2013 NL MVP at 10/1; he's third behind Joey Votto (15/2) and Ryan Braun (9/1). Worth noting: odds of Stephen Strasburg winning MVP are 15/1; and Ryan Zimmerman at 25/1. Also, Harper is 30/1 longshot to hit the most home runs in 2013 regular season in MLB. No clown questions, bro: Bryce Harper fielding Nationals season-ticket calls (photo)

Washington Nationals slugger Bryce Harper apparently had Tuesday off from his real job, so instead of just taking it easy and doing whatever it is that Bryce Harper does to chill and relax — although Harper strikes me as the kind of guy who would use the term “chilax” instead of going with both “relax” and “chill,” but that’s another story altogether — he is spending...

Washington National’s Bryce Harper uses sledgehammer to break in his glove

Baseball is a game filled with superstitions and quirky behavior. In the game that gives us the famed Rally caps, beards are grown, same shirts are worn during streaks, while players create unique bonds with their equipment. Washington Nationals OF Bryce Harper has a most unusual method of breaking in his glove. The process takes three days and involves the use of a sledgehammer...

Player Profile #20: Bryce Harper | OF | WAS

It was just a matter of time before Bryce Harper became an elite fantasy player and starred in an Under Armour commercial. Am I shocked that all of this has happened before he’s even turned 21? A little, but I guess I shouldn’t be. After all, the guy doesn’t have gears. Last season all Harper [...]

OUCH! Stephen Strasburg hit in the wrist by Prince Fielder line drive

Just Stephen Strasburg icing is wrist in the bottom of the fourth after getting drilled in the hand/wrist by a Prince Fielder liner. No big deal. Well, the good news is it was his non-throwing hand...and he finished the inning...and he came out to pitch the fifth. But for a second there the 2013 season flashed before our eyes... Player Profile #23: Stephen Strasburg | SP | WAS

Despite getting shut down two-thirds of an inning shy of his stated 160-inning limit last year, it’s hard to call Stephen Strasburg‘s first season back from Tommy John surgery anything but an outstanding success. Among the 88 pitchers that threw at least 160 innings (89 if you include Strasburg), his 11.2% swinging strike rate ranked [...]

YOLO! Max Him Out!

As Wizards fan my whole life, I find myself, once again, in an all too familiar situation. As the NBA season winds down and March Madness is underway, teams start to pack it in and the fans prepare for the Miami Heat, I mean.."NBA" post season, I sit patiently waiting for baseball to start (Opening Day is April 1st). In between my awe of Bryce Harper's dominant...

Astros manager Bo Porter subtly suggests Strasburg situation mishandled

Nothing like an honest answer to an honest question.  In what would seem like the furthest thing from begging a criticism of the much maligned decision by the Washington Nationals last year to shut Stephen Strasburg down as he approach 200 innings, Bo Porter answered a question regarding Houston Astros catcher Jason Castro and his durability with a jab at the Strasburg limit via...
