There has not been a peep from the Mets in reference to Fernando Tatis which leads me to believe that the Mets are moving on.If Tatis could produce as he has for the last two years then even at double what he cost last year ( 1.75MM) he would be worth it but I think if the Mets were keeping him he would have either been offered arbitration or already signed by now. I believe there are several things working against Tatis; first of all as a right hander he suddenly bats the wrong way for platoons or pinch hitting, secondly how long will this Cinderella story last after two years will the law of diminished returns begin to kick in and finally, at 35 y/o for a team concerned with injuries will they decide to go younger.
