Michael Baron: Qualls had a good bounce back year in 2011 after a poor 2010 season although he was considered to be unlucky last year. In general, he has been a reliable right-handed reliever throughout his career and I think he could go a long way towards solidifying the late innings for the Mets should they decide to sign him.
In regards to Harang, like Qualls, he had a solid bounce back season after struggling in 2010. He is prone to the home run and has seen his walk rate increase over the last couple of years, but he could serve as a potential upgrade towards the back of the rotation and provide better value in the rotation than their current options and alternatives.
Qualls went 6-8 with a 3.51 ERA in 71 relief ...
