If anyone thought the Philadelphia Phillies were happy with just one championship they better think again. Last night they proved they were no fluke as they beat the Los Angeles Dodgers by a 10-4 score. Jayson Werth homered twice, Shane Victorino and Pedro Feliz also connected and the Philadelphia Phillies in the win that has all of Philadelphia happy right now. Brad Lidge closed it out for the Phillies who took the series 4-1.
For the Dodgers they just did not play well enough to win the series. Did not get the pitching they needed or the hitting when it mattered most. Leaving 15 runners on base did not help either last night. The Dodgers will have to regroup and try again it seems as they just got beat by a better team.
