Philadelphia Phillies infielder Placido Polanco is hoping to return to the lineup next week as he recovers from a sports hernia.Polanco, who hasn't played in over a week, fielded grounders Saturday and was expected to take batting practice either Sunday or Monday.The 35-year-old had considered undergoing surgery, but is hoping to put it off until the end of the season.Polanco is hitting .275 with four homers and 40 RBIs in 345 at-bats so far this season.
