DODGERS 4, GIANTS 2 Although the Dodgers stranded another eight men on base tonight, Matt Kemp's bases-clearing double off Jonathan Sanchez in the fourth inning was enough to get them the win. Hiroki Kuroda was strong, allowing only a second-inning home run to Travis Ishikawa over 6 1/3 innings. Hong-Chih Kuo, Ronald Belisario and George Sherrill combined for 1 2/3 scoreless, and Jonathan Broxton got his 25th save, but not before giving up a home run to Bengie Molina on a 97-mph fastball. Chad Billingsley has been scratched from his Wednesday start, leaving Tim Lincecum to face Mr. TBA. Chalk that up as a loss, so by winning tonight, the Dodgers have assured themselves of a shot at taking two of three in this series. It's encouraging. photo by Ben Margot/AP
