The San Francisco Giants selected high school shortstop Christian Arroyo with their first pick (25th overall) in the 2013 MLB Draft. Arroyo passed on his full ride scholarship to the University of Florida, and decided to sign with the Giants. In his senior year, Arroyo hit .524 with 13 doubles, 3 triples and 11 homers in 105 AB’s.
