Question for Knowledgeable Phillies fans...

Does anyone know the reason Philadelphia Phillies newly re-signed set up man Ryan Madson has decided to change his uniform number from 63, which he's had since becoming a Phillie (although he briefly wore 57 his rookie year in 2003), to 46 this upcoming season?   After the brilliant way he ended his 2008 campaign, and with his recent brand new $12M contract, you'd think a superstitious baseball player wouldn't want to mess with anything.
