Brad Lidge said that Chan Ho Park looked like one of the best pitchers in baseball out of the pen last night. "Maybe he took some good Korean ancient herb or something," Lidge said. Pause. "Hopefully that didn't come out too bad."
Park certainly looked tremendous out of the pen last night and is an extremely welcomed addition to the Phillies late game options.
Cole Hamels also provided a worthy sound bite when talking about his emotional display when Chase Utley made that errant throw, "Imagine you're in Philly what would the fans do? I did exactly what the fans would have done."
He later added, "You can't show up a teammate and I did that. I walked back to the dugout and said "oops I hope nobody saw that."
Welp, we saw it. We know we're great and all, but you may not want to take cues from us. Just sayin'.
