ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. Right-hander Alex Cobb was reinstated from the bereavement list and right-hander Jake Odorizzi was optioned to Triple-A Durham, the Tampa Bay Rays announced Thursday night. Cobb was placed on the list Tuesday after the death of his grandmother. Meanwhile, Odorizzi, who pitched 3 13 innings in a 10-1 loss to the Kansas City Royals on Thursday at Tropicana Field, worked in the bullpen after being promoted in conjunction with Cobbs move. Odorizzi has an 8.03 ERA in three appearances (two starts) this season. He has given up 11 runs and 17 hits, and he has 12 strikeouts.
